People are always concerned about body odor. It can be very embarrassing and can make not only the person suffering from it uncomfortable, but everyone around him as well. Although a lot of people would usually resort to using deodorants, there are those whole would rather resort to the more natural alternatives. Some may have sensitive skin that reacts to certain chemicals that commercial brands contain. Others simply prefer the natural method of neutralizing unpleasant body odor minus artificially made chemicals. It is normal for people to sweat, something that is needed in order to rid the body of unwanted toxins. It is also the body’s natural way of cooling down. Unfortunately, the kind of food we eat plays a part in producing the odor we emit when we do sweat.

One of the things that must be basic for every person is to practice proper hygiene. This means regular baths and keeping clean. From here, one can also take a look at the other tested remedies that a lot of people swear to. These remedies need not be expensive but they can just be as effective in keeping body odor at bay. Apple cider vinegar for instance has certain cleansing properties that get rid of body odor, in spite of its own powerful aroma. By taking a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar twice or thrice a day, it is able to cleanse the body efficiently. Tea that is quite refreshing and offers various health benefits is an effective means of reducing body odor as well. Sage tea is particularly good, as well as “Kombucha,” a type of Chinese fermented tea containing probiotics and other system purifiers. Aside from the fact that it helps remedy minor health issues, it can remove toxins as well as body odor.

Baking soda is another natural remedy for body odor. Applied directly on the armpits or feet, baking soda is able to neutralize odors. The great thing about it is very inexpensive and may be something you have readily available in your pantry. When taking a bath, one can also add in a bit of rose water and soak in. This helps you relax and its essential oil is a wonderful odor neutralizer, maybe lasting longer than the effects of baking soda.
